NATS Apprenticeships in Emerging Technologies – An Innovative Initiative by MoE
Sir/ Ma’am,
The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), a flagship scheme of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, offers apprenticeship training opportunities to graduates/ diploma-holders of both technical and non-technical courses. Our major stakeholders are students, institutions, and establishments.
The Board of Apprenticeship Training (Western Region) [BOAT (WR)] implements NATS in the states of Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
You will appreciate that in today’s world of rapid development and the inclusion of emerging technologies such as AI in all aspects of business – it is imperative that today’s workforce be trained in the areas of emerging technologies. Accordingly, the Ministry of Education (MoE) has launched ‘AI Apprenticeship Programme’ to provide apprenticeship training to graduates/ diploma-holders in the fields of AI, ML, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Robotics, Prompt Engineering, IoT, and more.
