- The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme program is very useful to provide ground / field experience to the apprentices in order to enhance their technical skills. This ultimately helps them in transforming their academics into real-world technical knowledge and practical applications. This would definitely bridge the gap between the industries starving for skilled manpower and the aspirant youth searching for employment. The scheme has created a great opportunity to develop critical and important skills in the youth. Digitization of the BOAT platform helps the aspirants as well as organizations to take maximum benefit of the scheme. Indeed a great initiative by Government to promote employment opportunities and help organizations with skilled manpower and future ambassadors.

- The NATS scheme implemented by BOAT has definitely helped us in bridging the gap between the Employers and aspiring students to a great extent. The scheme is definitely helpful to enhance the employability of the students and to give scope to enhance their skills and creativity during the training. Industry is also benefited as the skills sets developed in the students during the apprenticeship training helps in increasing productivity by reduced wastages, quality improvements, new idea implementation etc. The availability of skilled manpower is definitely beneficial for the industrial progress of the country. The online NATS portal designed to facilitate the apprenticeship process is very simple, user-friendly and informative for all its users. We are hopeful that some improvement initiatives will be taken up by BOAT authorities to ease out the process of stipend claim reimbursement on NATS portal in near future. Arranging quarterly bank statements of trainees from bank regularly is challenging one.Thank you and a very Best of luck.

- As per The Apprentices Act, 1973, Technical Training Centre, BEST, Wadala, Mumbai organization is engaging graduate and diploma apprentices. NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) is very useful to fresh graduate/diploma engineers as well as organizations. Apprentices under this scheme get direct exposure to industry and work environment that help them to improve their skills and knowledge. Establishments also get graduate apprentices to handle different projects other than their routine work. The establishment gets financial support by way of reimbursing 50% of Government prescribed minimum stipend paid to the apprentices. I would like to mention that all the BOAT officials are very cooperative and helpful, therefore NATS scheme can run smoothly.

I have completed 1 year ago National Apprenticeship training scheme from Brihanmumbai Electric Supply & Transport in the year 2021-2022. This apprenticeship training was a great experience to improve our technical skills as well as management skills in all which will definitely be going to help me to grow in the future. - Rita Dongarwar, undergoing apprentice training at Bajaj Auto Limited Company in Aurangabad. I joined this company on 4th March 2022 and worked on various assembly stages of 3 wheeler Auto-rickshaw. I got this opportunity of apprenticeship training through the NATS scheme. This training increased my technical as well as practical exposure that we learned in theory lectures during diploma. I also got knowledge about the TPM and its different pillars. Due to my technical competence, I am now more confident to work in the Automobile industry. Various technical and soft skill training are arranged for every apprentice. I am happy that I got a chance to undergo apprenticeship training. - We are associated with BOAT (WR) Since 2013. In my opinion, Finding the right job for fresh Engineer is the most difficult task in a student's career. On the other hand establishments are also in need of human resources, and getting skilled freshers in bulk is the most critical activity. Here BOAT plays a key role by supporting campus recruitment. National Apprenticeship Training scheme, provides many opportunities to fresh engineers to get the right job.
